Poor granny, had to make a trip down to NUH this morning for endoscopy. Apparently her liver has hardened probably due to the fats accumulated around it (ahma... stop eating fatty stuff already...) Anyway, they put her under anesthesia so I had to rush down from home to be with her in case she lost her way. Inflammed stomach with polyps on the sides. SIGH. Guess that's all part of aging. okay, I shall not talk about depressing matters here.
Everyone should be happy! It's 2 days to Farewell Alma Mater! Didn't expect it to come so fast. Just about a month ago, we were all getting excited over getting the perfect dress for this glam night. Thinking of where to do our hair/ make-up. Really enjoyed all the hours sitting around at subway talking about these random stuff. Time really flies. It has been almost 1.5 months since I found you guys, but yet it seems as if we've been spending such quality girly time together for years (!!) Well, even without FAM, we would still be enjoying ourselves. Laughing ourselves silly at the little-lest things (:
And now for the record.... I'VE OFFICIALLY RETIRED FROM SWIMMING! Competitive swimming that is. Submitted my letter of resignation from the club yesterday. phew. 13 years in water, think I'm really sick of it. Besides, I've not made any significant improvements since primary 6?! haha! yeahh, so now I'm practically a sinking whale. yay. Somehow I feel relieved. After all these years, swimming has been a topic of tension between my mum and I. Always quarreling over my commitment level to this sport. Now I guess, all the conflicts can stop here (:
AND SO.... Now I have more time to pursue my own interests! What I really like! I feel like signing up with StudioWu- dance company, for dance workshops. $55 per month (4 lessons) I like dancing, it's a way to express myself. But I don't even have the basics! HAHA! Imagine bernice heng in ballet shoes+ tutu. *faints. Shall discuss that with my mum. haha! She'll probably just flip (:
band practice for Shaun's wedding later at 7pm. Gotta get my fingers all warmed up, I'm not going to mess up Shaun's most important day! (:
